Septage and Graywater

The OCUA receives septage and graywater* at the Central and Southern Treatment Plants from residents or commercial establishments within the OCUA service area. The waste must be hauled to the OCUA facility by a Septage Hauler that has a current agreement with OCUA and is in good standing. All loads must have a “manifest” that indicates the origin of the waste. This procedure was established in conjunction with the Ocean County Board of Health. Residents that have motor homes can discharge the contents of the motor home’s holding tank at either of the OCUA treatment plants free of charge as long as they show proof of residency.
